Four parks in one day! Departed d Yellowstone in rain. Drove Thru the Grand Tetons with the mountains obscured by fog. Arriving at the airport with rain, thunder and lightning we had to wait between cells to depart. Filed for 15K but had to climb to K because we were still in the clouds. After we cleared to mountains we were had clear skies to KRAP - Rapid City Airport in South Dakota.
Rented a red Mustang convertible which was lots of fun! We drove to Mt. Rushmore to see the presidents and have a picnic lunch. Then on to Crazy Horse Memorial which was a weird hodge podge eclectic museum of Indian "stuff" with an unfinished memorial carving in the mountain.
Next Custer Park in search of Custers Last Stand, where we discovered it was in Montana not South Dakota. Of course I got all the blame since I was in charge of planning and logistics.
